Christian Female Role Model of the Day: Condoleezza Rice

Welcome to my celebration of Women's History Month! You can read more about this month and why I am writing about admirable Christian women here. For now, let's jump in!

The Forgiven Former Feminist's Female Christian Role Model of the Day is...  Condoleeza Rice PhD!

Condoleezza Rice is an incredible woman. She began her life as the daughter of not one, but two teachers. Rice attributes much of her success to her parent's teachings growing up. A talented piano player, Rice switched from piano to political science at the University of Denver when she realized she would never be a world class musician. She graduated with honors at just nineteen years old. She went on to earn her doctorate degree becoming an expert on the political climate of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. From 2001 to 2005 Rice served as the National Security Adviser to President George W. Bush. Rice was the first woman ever to ever hold this position. From 2005 to 2009, Rice served as the 66th Secretary of State of the United States of America. She was the second woman and first African American woman to have this position. She is now teaching at Stanford in California.

The reason that Rice made this list is because she upholds her Christian values at all times. She is a modest, put-together, modern woman. Condoleezza Rice never married, but instead dedicated her life to the role that God called her. She is outspoken in her faith and encourages many with her determination and fortitude.
