Christian Female Role Model of the Day: Mother Teresa

Welcome to my celebration of Women's History Month! You can read more about this month and why I am writing about admirable Christian women here. For now, let's jump in!

The Forgiven Former Feminist's Female Christian Role Model of the Day is...  Mother Teresa!

Mother Teresa was an inspiring woman. A Roman Catholic nun, Mother Teresa spent a large portion of her life founding and working for the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta, India. The mission of her organization was to care for the people that the rest of society didn't care about.

So why is Mother Teresa on my list? Mother Teresa felt that serving others is what defined Christianity.  I think this quite by Mother Teresa explains why she made it on my list, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”  Imagine if more people took that to heart, the change that could be seen in the world.
